Alicious recipe: Strawberry sponge cake/ kek span strawberi


This was my few tested self created recipe base on angel cake/american sponge cake .....
superb taste and very moist

3 Large eggs, separated
50 gm Sifted self raising flour
a pinch of salt
100 gm sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 table spoon water
1 table spoon condense milk (may omit)
1 table spoon butter (may omit)
1 strawberry press through sift (may omit)
3/4 teaspoon cream of tartar

1. beat egg yolk with 70gm sugar , add in melted butter with condense milk



2. Carefully fold shifted flour into the mixture, strawberry,  add some coloring if you prefer

3. whipped the egg white into a froth, add in cream of tar tar and  30gm sugar, beat till shiny to medium peak

4. Slowly introduce egg white to the mix 



5. pour into a tray... 8 x 11 is possible to produce ticker roll ... am a little lazy ... thus cookie tray, bake at 180c 30-40 minute till now batter stick to skewer



6. Whip the cream... am using uht whipcream 200ml Emborg with some sugar if you want but i didn't


7. Chill the cake in 1 hour ++ before you start smearing the whipped cream


8. Slice some strawberry and line it up , roll the cake and

wallah :P
